Our value-added lies in portfolio
manager sourcing, risk monitoring and
active distribution capabilities
Our strategic business consists in partnering with talented investment managers across strategies in listed and private asset classes both in long only and alternatives spaces. We carefully select managers and onboard them on our proprietary platform. We perform all regulatory, compliance, risk and operational functions for the funds. And we provide active distribution to European institutional investors.
Founded in 2006, Alma Capital is an independent fund management company, with total assets of circa € 3.9 billion. We actively distribute our own proprietary range of funds in UCITS/AIF format. Our team comprises 25 people from 12 nationalities operating from offices located in Luxembourg, Paris and London. Alma Capital is a member of LuxFLAG and a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment since 2016.
Environmental, social and governance considerations are part of our overall responsibility as a firm.
We have been a signatory to the UNPRI (United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment) since 2016.
We are a member of LuxFlag (Luxembourg Finance Labelling Agency), an agency that promotes responsible investment within the fund management industry.
Alma Capital is also a signatory to Japan’s Stewardship Code which promotes ethical standards in investment management.
Les Enfants de l'Alma
Les Enfants de l'Alma
Since its creation, the founding partners wanted to share and give back part of their success.
In 2006, the founding partners of Alma Capital have created a charitable foundation dedicated to support childhood causes. They made the fondation Les Enfants de l’Alma a shareholder of the company. Every year, we donate around 10% of our profits to projects sponsored by the foundation.
Two of the main projects sponsored over the years are:
• Vanessa Grant Girls’ College is an all-girl boarding school in Kenya, which intends to become one of the best schools in the country (sponsored since 2009) and
• Tricotez Cœur (literally “Heartedly Knit”) is a network of grandmothers and elder women in France, who get together to knit garments for new-born babies whose mothers are in difficulty (sponsored since 2010).
